really cool. great programming, great handling and - above all - very very stylish characterdesign. bookmarked you page. rock on!
very well put together. seems like you got somethin to say it's worth listening to.
let's see your next film! well done.
i discovered a weird bug tho:
when that green guy who throws tha flames from above attacks and i block his fireballs, i often simply can't get back on my feet. and then, all of a sudden, i die. hm...
back to the review: the idea was nice, but the game was a lil stupid: most of the time its enough to just charge and hit the enemy with sword attack. and they're done for.
nice, but not too special. anyway: thanks for sharing.
hey, that was fun. a bit hard, but fun.
nice programming, works without a flaw.
i would appreciate some background art (why not paint em in that copic marker style like your intro sequence?) and a password option though.
good idea to post those tuts here. i thought i knew pretty much bout flash but i was never clever enough to use ease in an out up to now.
why the hell does a 26 year-old ex-animation student with flash skills not have a website?
i wanna see your stuff online (and possibly more tutorials? :)
i dunno what drove you into making this one, it must have been MONTHS of work to get it done.
an excellent piece:
great, great sound, wonderful animation, tons of interactivity. hell yea!
"whichever side of the fence you're on.."
damn man, you're so fuckin right!
firstly this is definitetly a ripoff of the legendary "drive by shooting" game created by Tom, if I'm not mistaken.
also nothing ever really seemed to change in the first five minutes of the game. just drivin and shooting the same two guys over and over again.
it's an ok game, but there are more interesting and fresher games around.
It's not a ripoff more of that game inspired me to create such a thing, But I wanted a different perspective you know? with more shit...
also I understand the same 2 guy''s over and over. The next installment will have many more things to kill.
i want more!
more animation (death, walk)
more characters (differing in quality and looks)
more levels (differing environments)
your game definitely has potential! it was fun to throw the sticks around. hrhr. but to make it a quality game you really gotta improve some basic things.
what was the artillery range good for? i didn't even notice something changed after i'd bought it.
also, a watch showing how much time there's left in a level would be nice.
please make a 2nd version with all possible improvements. it could be one of my favourites, you know... :D
